TheNaturalSanctuary.com was founded by Jordana Silvestri - owner, manager and operator of
The Sanctuary - All Natural Salon, in Tucson, Arizona, and Dr. DM Dixon, MD - a conventionally trained physician, spiritual teacher and student.

Ms. Silvestri incorporates over 25 years of varied professional and personal experience in the cosmetic
and beauty industry. After experiencing health difficulties associated with the use of chemicals in salon
work, she decided to create a safe environment for her customers and herself, offering only natural alternatives for natural beauty. Ms. Silvestris' herbal knowledge, Ayurvedic principles, aromatherapy and massage techniques have been attained after many years of searching for the true meaning of beauty. Complementing her unique style of creativity, Ms. Silvestri is also an accomplished Ayurvedic Chef and Yoga instructor, which she feels adds a special dimension to each service she provides at her salon.

Dr. Dixon is a United States Medical School Graduate who has extensive experience in consulting and formulating plant based remedies using Ayurvedic and Herbal principles to develop complementary therapies for natural healing. Dr. Dixon is also a yogi and intuitive healer.

Ms. Silvestri was introduced to the beauty business early, at the age of four. Her pre-teen years included many modeling assignments. As a senior in high school, evenings were spent selling Revlon cosmetics
at The Broadway at Hollywood and Vine. While attending college, she attended evening classes at Kay Brown Beauty School to become a manicurist. Fifteen years employed in Beverly Hills added valuable training experience. During her employment at Vidal Sassoon, she did a great deal of work on production sets, grooming hand models with meticulous manicures.

After Hollywood, Jordana came to Tucson and was active in the Sikh community as a Kundalini instructor and Guru. Four years later, she returned to beauty school training (for 1500 hours) at Capelli & Co. to apprentice under one of Tucson's premier hairdressers. The Rusk training received was the most sought after; Irvine Rusk was voted Hairdresser of the Year, the industry's highest honor, three years in a row. The color techniques learned were unsurpassed and the haircuts impeccable. The subsequent five years as a full service cosmetologist and salon manager at Markley Salon provided an excellent prelude to being a salon owner.

Jordana and Dr. D are very blessed and grateful for their accumulated knowledge, and have teamed up to market their proprietary flower essences, gem elixirs, beauty, bath and health care lines to everyone.

Using their unique formulations as a vehicle of change, Ms. Silvestri and Dr. Dixon seek to raise the Inner Consciousness of all to The Creator of the Universe - allowing development of new thought forms with a higher vibration for acceptance and faith. The desired result of this process should ultimately lead to a shift or change in the personality, embracing growth and positive transformation - allowing spiritual awareness and physical healing en route to a prosperous and gratifying future.
